I need to file down the granny ring holes on my chainset as they're fouling my chainguide slightly. Is it as simple as just filing a bit off, or do I need to watch out for anything? A couple of mm should be plenty.

TIA

Am I the only person who read "Filling my granny".....and clicked for that reason?

I'm afraid I have nothing to offer regarding "Filing my granny"

I was sure it said "Fitting my Granny", arguably better than "my fitting Granny" or "my fit granny" though.

I know they get old and saggy but try not to overfill your granny.

Filing your granny, no probs. De-filing your granny. No, just no.
