I have just been watching postman pat this morning (with my young son I might add), but can't help thinking there would be some good trails around greendale!

What Cartoon do you reckon would have the best riding?

Road Runner and Wiley Coyote's lands. Perfect for the Red Bull Ramgpage.

Baby Jake. Where else could you get frozen tundra, jungle etc all in one episode/ride.

We're going on an (mountain bike) adventure oggy g ah....

On second thoughts might be just a bit too weird.

Pontypandy in Fireman Sam ticks all the boxes for me. Mountains, forests, beach - pretty similar really to some areas of Snowdonia, which i'm guessing it's based on.
I'd have a proper word with that little bastard Norman Price though if I moved into the area. He'd be on an ASBO straight away.

Does anyone else think there's a bit of a Summersisle vibe going on around Greendale? I can see Pat hanging out a giant burning wicker effigy one of these episodes shouting "oh my christ".

No I would cast Pat as Lord Summerisle. However if I was an outsider in the village I might be keeping an eye on the harvest festival preparations.

"Why have you grown so much wicker this year Ted?"
"Well you see I think it could be used for a temporary structure. Have you seen my jerry can and lighter sure they are round here somewhere."

Fireman Sam would be a good one too! You'd have to watch for Norman he'd be the one placing branches and rocks in the trail to stop you riding, if they knocked you off you'd have to be rescued by fireman Sam! Then at the end fireman Sam could give his little speech about how dangerous it is to leave things in the trail.

Tracey Island.
Sick downhill tracks all day with an uplift in Thunderbird 1, then relaxing on the beach of an evening with Lady Penelope... 8)

Given that Greendale is based on Kentmere, it's not surprising there'd be good riding 🙂

And Waybuloo is set against a backdrop of the nearby Langdales I believe.

I reckon there's some sweet singletrack lurking in here...

Postman Pat is Longsleddale

I spend way too much time on some films looking at the background and possible trails.

Yes, I know.

I couldn't even bring myself to look for a pic of Waybuloo.

In the night garden makes me think of riding through Yorkshire Sculpture Park for some reason

Don't think there'd be much in the little kingdom, all looks a bit flat there.

Based on Pontypridd and Tonypandy in the Valleys (hence the fictitious name), the two places are full of little Normans ironically 😕

No idea where the beach came from, could be an excuse for a fatbike though 💡

When I saw the thread title I thought about the bellend at my kids school who insists on telling me (and anybody who will listen) about all the epic rides he does even though he wont come out with us when invited and nobody has ever seen him on his bike 😀

Simpsons seems to have it all - forest, mountains, desert, so I'd probably go for that.

It's not a moon, it's a small blue planet far far away...

Just sat watching Brave with sd jnr and, as it's based in the highlands of Scotland but with bears, looks like there'd be some pretty good riding
