anyone got any idea's for comfy feet on the bike.
over the years i have used ever combo, from cheap rat traps with hiking boots, to top of the range sidi's with spd's.
i was always ok and comfy, but over the last 12 month i cant find a comfy combo.
spd's drill into my foot, stiff soled shoes cause hotfoot, flats and grippy shoes seem ok.
is this the way forward?
anyone else suffer with footpain whilst riding, and if so how did you sort it.
I have very wide feet, hooves basically 😀
SPD's hurt after 50 miles, no matter how stiff the soles.
Years ago, rat traps & quills were no better, but hiking boots were a partial relief.
Flats and decent, stiffish thick soled shoes are the best solution I've found for MTB'ing, as you say.
AM45 style (but without the cleat fitted, obviously) are stiffer than the AM41 (flat pedal only) style soles.
