I ride 7 miles or so sit down for a drink/relax for a couple of minuets then getting back on the bike I feel awful/knackered and hot. I always feel like this, if I stop for small amount of time then start pedaling again. I'm fine if I don't stop, strange one or is this kind of normal.
I struggle to get going again after stopping but it's not as bad as the symptoms you describe. And a couple of minutes is hardly much of a break. Are you going full out before stopping? If so it might be best to wind it back a bit more gradually. And starting again slower.
I suppose I was going a fast pace today I'll try winding it down a bit before I stop and see what happens thanks, I'm on a heavy bike (15kg) and that cant help.
