My very old Minoura stand needs replacing. I remember reading here (but couldn't now find) a thread recommending the Feedback stands. About twice the price of the Minoura, twice as good? £200 seems a chunk of cash, but mine current cheap one lasted over 10 years, and you are clamping up some pretty expensive bikes.

Any other recommendations? Had to be floor standing, doesn't need to fold.

I gave my Minoura away and bought a Feedback. The Minoura was too unstable for me.

It's the only one I've had, but having used other stands and seen the ones in the local bike shops, it's clearly not the best. I really don't trust it with one wheel off. Local Halfords has a Feedback in stock so might go and have a prod and a poke.

I've been very happy with my Feedback stand. I picked up a pro-elite stand in a sale years ago and it's been a pleasure to use.

Whilst expensive, it will probably outlast me.

Same here, bought the Feedback stand. It was expensive but it's easily the best stand I've used so far.

Well worth the money.

Just an update for anyone who is looking for a new stand. I ended up missing my collection, but the PSA on here with 10% off all halfords on line stock then worked in my favour! Great stand, light (alu not steel), fold away very neatly, clever and fast clamp and absolutely rock solid. Just so much nicer than the old one, and it's even in the fastest colour 🙂

Ended up paying £175 with Quidco discount and it's definitely worth that.
