[Closed] FC sell-off/acquisition of leisure rights

I see on newsnight fc are selling off forests - does anyone know how you go about acquiring them?

I suspect I am not rich enough to buy huge tranches like will happen but idealistically getting hold of a couple of acres on blackdown or devils punchbowl and building some trails with free access to other leisure uses appeals to my inner libertarian

Also I have been enquiring with my local landowners about leisure rights on suitable sloping free- draining land near my house to build some babytrails on for mine and mates sprogs. It seems that the kind of land we like is popular with rabbits and therefore quite lucrative for shooting rights - so forget about riding there...

Would be interested to hear people's tales of lane acquisition, rental costs, etc vs just doing cheeky trails and keeping away if you hear loud bangs.

PS seems to me like some of the more popular Pitch Trails need some tlc - I have put myself forward to Hurtwood and all the online groups I can find so how else do you find out if there is a work party going on?
