For the amount of cycling I do, I only 3 tops.. around 6 years old.
I think it's time for a new one.
Give me some inspiration, show me what you wear (or advise a brand)
Rapha....
Road or MTB?
For road a whole heap of different stuff from Planet-X, Decathlon, Rapha, really whatever takes my fancy.
For MTB I tend to use a plain ish technical t-shirt, normally from Decathlon.
For MTB, Dakine or Sombrio.
Road = Rapha
MTB = Gore/Sombrio
Shoes = Shimano
Gloves = Specialized
Road - Rapha
MTB - Endura
You could be a real stormtrooper!

Craft apparently here 🙂 Though most recent stuff has been Sportful, based mostly on fit, function and looking ok.
Road - Rapha
MTB - poc
MTB - Fox Tech tees or DaKine
Gnarmac - Fox or Giro. With pockets, but non EuroRoadieNaff.
mainly road.
I have Rapha bibs, and a jacket for the cold weather.
Was looking for a nice and maybe different from Rapha for a cycling top.
Various brands, but tend to stick to the same brands when i find a nice fit.
Short Sleeved tops - Endura x2, Pearl Izumi x1,
Long sleeved tops - Topman
Gillet - Altura
Rain/Winter Jacket - Decathlon
Travis

MTB - Whatever's in TK Maxx
Road - Whatever's in TK Maxx
Gore
(Specialized gloves, shoes and helmets)
Castelli, Mavic & Howies
Morvelo
MTB: Pearl Izumi, mainly because they do a 'proper' XXL Or Troy Lee, because I'm a tart,
Road: Rapha, yup predictable, but it really is lovely stuff and lasts longer than any other merino if you look after it.,
As I'm less likely to go headfirst into a bramble patch when I'm on my road bike I find £100+ jerseys that bit easier to justify for the road.
As it's being mentioned a lot... find Rapha stuff can be a bit hit and miss of late. Fit isn't brilliant for racing snakes either (though not tried their pro team stuff yet.) Not too much of a problem as they do good returns. Their base layers however are excellent, especially the winter one. And my old Country Jersey (think it's the same as the long sleeved Club jersey) is one of my favourite bits of bike clothing for more moderately paced riding 🙂
Tops:
Road; Not sure really, my favourite for the road is a Ventoux top from Chalet Reynard on Ventoux made by Poli
MTB it's probably Polaris
Shorts:
Road: Castelli
MTB: Gore
🙂
Road: Rapha jersey, DHB shorts, Endura jacket
MTB: Endura
Decathlon base & mid layers, Aldi jackets, GORE waterproofs.
No complaints.
MTB. Got an Intrepid Apparel one which is three years old and going strong, very comfy.
My new favourite is a Madison roam one.
For road based stuff, if you don't want anything flashy, the Planet-X clubman and the new Merlin tops are both very nice, cheap tops that look a lot more expensive then their price tag suggests.
Tops currently in my bike kit drawer: Torm, Rapha, DHB, Cafe du Cycliste. Tops I am eyeing up: Howies, Rivelo, Velobici, Shutt.
My current favourite: Torm
Twin Six
Dakine for MTB, just that little bit better designed than the rest IMO.
For MTB I like Raceface and Maloja. Road, Pearl Izumi.
Dunno about favourite brands, but my favourite jersey at the moment is from Morvelo.
Can't beat a nice orange Bike Village top.
Fact.
Endurance, it's solid and affordable. Sorry but Rapha is too coffee shop trendy hipster for me, and the pricing is just too dear.
Endura, Morvelo and Tenn as they fit big people. Best is the Morvelo technical T wick well but are a proper tshirt, love em.
For winter I only use gore stuff and in summer I get my kits off monton....yes monton
Gore here too. love my phantom windstopper, bibs and waterproof
Morvelo for me own two now and on the hunt for more when a deal comes up 🙂
