hmmm, when I googled I found quite lot of hate for the floaters - is that unfair ?
(they don't have to be supercheap, as long as they last and don't rip to bits - like nobby nics do round here)

Perfectly good tyre if used within its limitations.
I prefer Nates for winter, but on my 3 season fatbike I have Floaters. Not enough edge lug for riding along greasy cambers, but not as draggy on dry, and hard surfaces either.
And I don't feel bad knocking off a few miles on the road to get to a trail.
