Couldn't find the lonely hearts forum.
Looking out the window, glorious weather, just like the last one and the one before it.
Yet, I am finding every excuse not to get out on my bike.
Usually ride from my front door, on my own and getting a bit fed up with it.
I know there are groups out there but I'm genuinely slow and worried about keeping up or ruining everyone elses ride by making them wait.
Anyone in the same boat - Lancashire/Gtr Manchester/W Yorkshire area for occasional Saturday or Sunday ride?
(BTW - None of my gear is the latest and its mostly second hand so dont let that put you off!)
If you're ever near Exeter PM me for a ride. I mostly ride alone not because I'm slow/unfit but prefer to go at whatever speed I feel like .None of this competitive bullshit for me anymore ..probably because I'm getting on a bit! I actually like riding slowly sometimes ...more relaxing /take more in etc . Good luck

Meetup site is your best bet to find groups in your area
I don't think it should matter if your gear is 5 minutes old or 5 years, just get out and enjoy it!
I'm not the fittest or the fastest, but enjoy both group rides or solo. Getting to a trail centre may help as theres always people to chat to / ride with?
