Ok, so I'm tasked with building an e-fatbike starting with VeeTire SnowShoe 2XL 5.05" tyres. (Don't ask why)
Procured a 2022 Kona Wo and a Bafang BBSHD sytem will be going on it.
Can't find many suspension forks for those tyres. Preferably with a 150\15mm axle to suit the original wheel.
I've found brands like Pasak and Elyon on AliExpress that I've never heard of. Are they any good? Any other suggestions?
Wren?
Lauf?
Not sure if the RS Bluto or manitou mastodon will take a 5+ inch tyre, but worth a look?
I just measured up my Bluto fork - I think it will be a bit tight for a 5"+ tyre It will go in I think but the clearances will be paper thin
Mastodon EXT is certified up to 5.15".
Bluto is going to be too much of a squeeze and it is too noodly anyways.
These AliExpress contraptions just avoid at all cost...
Cheers!
I.
Going to e- my fatty once the Italians sort their stuff out. Update here as it progresses please!
Hired a pair nr. Stelvio couple years back, SUCH fun!

It will prob fit in a bluto, but it'll be millimetre clearance. I ran a Surly 4.8" bud on a 100mm clown shoe rim and that fitted, just.
However, Bluto is shit and made of spaghetti, Mastodon Pro EXT is both an utterly glorious fork, and one with plenty of clearance.
Thanks guys. All very helpful.
Found a set of the Manitous on French eBay for £433 with £9 postage so hit the buy button.
Job done. STW forums deliver the goods again!😁
Good choice - I upgraded to Mastodons and never looked back
