My kid turns 11 in two weeks and he really wants a at bike as he loves my rose Tusker so much..lol
What do I do....buy him a 26" wheel fatbike or a 24" ??
I would say he is average height.....but I'm thinking the 26" is a bit too big
What have you guy got your kids??
Thanks
I'm 6'2 and love thrashing my little 5" travel hardtail on 24s with 3" front and 2.6" rear tyres. A miniature fatbike, sort of.
I reckon a 26" bike would be a bit much for him, especially if it had the modern "long" geometry.

Now that does look pretty cool
Ooh la la... now that's what I'm talking about

It has been ridden by my 10 year old (average height) daughter
Didn't someone convert 26" SC Nomad to something like 24+, that looked like a proper little mini fat ripper.
found it, half way down this thread page... maybe you could do something like that on a more traditional frame though you might be struggling time wise.
