I had a old SC Heckler in lemon yellow, with Orange Z1s. Oranges and Lemons, I loved it!

It depends...if you've got the skillz to back up the loud paint job then it'll be fine!

I've a metallic orange bike too and I dallied with the idea of fitting purple 55s up front. The bike has blue hubs, seatclamp, headset and stem too. I however am a massive numpty and have all the bike riding skill of an asthmatic haddock with no sense of balance.

[edit] and possibly the aesthetic eye of Ray Charles too.

leave colours as they are and always ride in a pillar box red cat suit / wrestling costume !! last thing anyone will notice is your forks !!

I did it to my bike, it looked ok. Then I removed all the paint about 6 months later

Go with it.

Bonus points for purple grips and lime green rims if you can...

I had a Peugeot 12 speed when I was a kid in this scheme. My mate had the same bike but 15 speed which had green forks. It looked early 1990s rad, go for it if you don't like it then go for the black
