When the store says "first free service", if you're not a proficient mechanic PLEASE PLEASE get that service done
And if your bike starts making odd noises or not working quite right, PLEASE PLEASE don't just ignore it.
Thanks for that in advance.
Erm...Ok.
Care to enlighten us?
PP are you insinuating stwers are incapable of servicing their own bikes or diagnosing any problems ❓
Hehehe...........
not sure what the issue is. Skipped 1st service + later problems = money for shop?
Yeah. You try explaining that to someone though...!
PP living the cycle trade dream
Nope. Not in the shop this time!
I bought a Rockhopper from a shop 16 years ago should I take it for it's first service soon?
How someone can ignore a noise like that for over a year and enough mileage to require a new chain/cassette is beyond me.
Although, to be fair, a first service from the same 'mechanic' that PDId the bike might have been a fate worse than death.

I dare you 🙂
God I hope the owner isn't a STWer.
Sorry if you're reading this, "Dave" it's just a bit of a giggle. 🙂

He never specified how long.
I have to agree. Getting paid to play with bikes is perfect apart from the money but I don't think of work as a chore
He never specified how long.
Should be fine then!
