the parking charges are increasing a bit😳

At at least it makes the fiver at GT look reasonable...
Wow, so basically £9 to hike the Cobbler. How many people's first hill was that?
This is Arrochar's attempt at a tourist tax by the look of it, subtle...
That's a disgrace, I use those carparks at least once a week. Oh well, I'll just park on one of the streets instead. I'm sure lot's of others will too.

Yip. If I was a resident I’d be raging as the few residential streets will be packed with cars
Blimey that seems a bit excessive . I was there on thursday , i do the glen loin loop a few times a year but as above street parking from now on .
Thats the end of my visits. I'll not be missed.
That's not too bad. It's a big price hike but up to £6 to hog a space in the car park for what for some may be a minimum of 6 hours is quite reasonable I think. There's also those that camp overnight and probably leave their rubbish strewn about which has to be collected by someone at some point.
Or get the bus or train instead.

£16 return on the train

Good idea. I'll turn a 90mins round trip into a 4hr one at 3x the price.
£16 return on the train
38 miles from the broomielaw or £6.10 and 18 miles from balloch! 😆
Excessive that! I parked in Ardgartan last time up and that worked well for mtb
da **** - my ride on Beinn Narnain would have cost £6. Better get riding the cobbler and Beinn Ime before the 27th of August then.
