Are we doing the velogames fantasy Giro D'Italia again?
who set up the STW league last year? RealMan wasn't it?

I've not even got round to sorting my team yet, but if there's not an STW league by then I'll set it up.

Team TiRed will be in, once I've sorted the back room bickering over who's going to be team leader.

Is there a highlights show on each day?

Highlights are on Sky Sports. Eurosport is showing it live, so probably has repeats/highlights too.

Gents/Ladies

May I suggest http://fantasy.road.cc/

IMHO better looking and easier to use with more info on riders…. But most improtantly probably a better game.

It allows tranfers of 2 riders a day (more on a rest day) keeps you looking at the results and thinking about what to do with your team for the next day’s stage.
(although you can race as a “Purist” and make no changes to your team once selected)

No need to pay for the “Pro” game… I just use the free version and there’s an STW league already setup.

I have no connections to this site …. I’m just the winner of the STW league Spring Classics campaign 😀

I’ve been waiting weeks to mention that 😆

sounds good ro5ey, but too much effort for me

it took me 5 mins of thought to craft my squad for the velogames one, and that was because I couldn't find a team with riders I'd heard of that cost under about 120 points

I haven't the time or skillz to play a proper league

oh, well done on the classics, though. Did anyone else enter ? 😉

In! Almost a random selection bar the inclusion of Bradders 🙂

its gonna be an interesting one this I reckon.
even though sir Brad has done climbing specific buildup, will he hold Nibali on those last big steep mountain stages? have a look at them- the last in particular, SEVERE.
What with time bonuses for stage wins, Sir Wiggo will need a sizeable margin on the TTs in my view.
Mind you, if he can hold his own on those climbs then his rhetoric earlier this week rings very true.
😛

i'm in

i won the STW vuelta league last year with my 'drug taking bert-stards' but i'm not confident for 'wet with my tears' this time around
the giro is a bit harder to pick for so i've thrown in a couple of mental break away artists for sh*ts and giggles

In in. Not going with Brad, so if he wins great, if he doesn't then there's some small comfort.

I've got those three and also got the same points as you this week (you were actually joint 11th, not 15th).

Can't really read too much from today, but I'm beginning to suspect that not having any Cannondale riders was a mistake. They looked very tidy.

Why am I in 22nd place when I have 312 points?
Is it slow to update, or does the minileague show daily standings?

Cobo is down once again

this man needs some lessons in how to ride a bike - I think he's fallen off at least once in every stage!

How'd everyone do then? 6th place for me in the Velogames STW league. A few obvious places where I went wrong in hindsight. Did much better on the RCUK league with a worldwide top finish.

12th. If I'd gone with uran instead of henao as per my first instinct I'd be much better off.

Gatto and minguez let me down badly.

Top by just over 300 points.

Hesjedal ended up being a huge waste of money and I should have gone for Uran instead of Henao, but Santambrogio and Betancur did the business. (And Cavendish and Nibali, obviously.) 8)

Ignoring my poor selection choices, the weather and the abandons really had an impact on this race in a way we haven't seen in a grand tour for years.

Mid table for me and about right. wish I had included some Columbians!
