Looks like there's a reasonably strong bike signal on the heatmap for the black dotted line that goes along the escarpment above Llyn y Fan.  Anyone done it?  Looks reasonable in places on the satellite pics.

Not done (yet!) but I know a man who has. Some good riding over there at the moment (dry) but probably best avoided on weekends

There's a BW to the south that crosses the moors.. looks worse - I know someone who's done it on a fat bike.  If rideable though it'd make an epic loop.

I've walked around there quite  bit and usually see MTB tyre tracks, never seen anyone riding or taken my bike around though.

If you mean a 26" HT or FS, yup, just fine. The descent down to Dan yr Ogof caves is absolutely awesome fun.

I meant normal as in not fat. Thanks. I always avoided that BW cos it looked like a bog trotting nightmare.

There is one boggy section as you drop down to the river. It's downhill though, so easy enough.
