We're camping next week and taking the kids. I know the long mynd fun to be had, but anything trailer friendly nearby?

Wenlock Edge, from the Much Wenlock end, is worth considering. A bit steeper and potentially muddier at the South end.

Only 45mins-1hr drive to Cannock and the fantastic new blue trail. Plus there's a playpark and loads of lovely places for a picnic and a play. Checkout the huge field past all the parking. Frisbees footballs etc.

Plus at the long mynde you can actually drive to the top and you could just go along the top a few times, it's fairly flat but undulating once you're on top.
