Please could some one help I purchased some rock shox revelation forks on eBay. However there is some fade on the upper arms only on one. The guy says it still runs fine. Is this the case or should I send them back. Everything else is fine. They seem to hold the air in.

Do you mean the anodizing [usually gold coloured coating] on the upper legs is worn, like this:

If they're worn they're they beyond economical reapair due to prices of parts to repair (even discounted on parts and labour)

You have 2 choice use them till they die/start leaking oil/knocking etc if you got them really cheap.

or

Return for a refund if not mentioned or not very cheap to reflect wear.
