I have and had several Fabric ti railed saddles & after 18-24 months they all seam to start creaking. Anyone had the same problem?
Is there a cure other than buying another?
I've had the non ti versions and they creak as well. A bit of spray grease every now and again up the side of the rails into the shell helps for a bit.
Most saddles do eventually if they have standard metal rails
Some GT 85 sprayed into where the rails connect into the saddle. Reapply when necessary..
My standard fabric saddle creaks as well. Went out on it yesterday and decided I couldn't ride with it any more so looking for a replacement
I have a couple of Ti rail Scoops where the hull flex is part of why they're so comfy but the rail moves inside the areas where it locates. I tried oil and that worked for a while, cleaned it out then tried some latex solution worked into where the front of the rail fits and left for a couple of days to dry fully. That did the trick. There's movement still but it's no longer felt or heard.
