I know saddles are a personal thing and not a one size fits all but wondered if anyone rates the Fabric Scoop Radius Saddle? Seen them on a few bikes recently but not had a sit one one.

Or anything else that is generally well thought of in saddle land?

It's time to replace my trusty old Chromag and want to see what other options are about before I plump for another the same/similar!

I've been looking for a 'winter' replacement for my trusty Brooks Ti B17....it's just too wet here throughout the winter and it sits in a permanent wet state which isn't the best....so....after a full 12 months I've finally settled on a WTD Pure V. Here's my list of tried / tested / failed as it happened.

1. Brooks C15 Cambium - 2/10 - like sitting on a brick but the brick was comfier.
2. Fabric Ti Scoop - 3/10 - lasted 1 x 2hr ride, too hard
3. Fizik Gobi - 5/10 - too narrow and slightly too hard
4. Specialised Phenom - 6/10 - hot spots after 2.5hrs
5. Charge Spoon - 7/10 - getting there but hot spots after 3.5hrs
6. WTB Pure V - 10/10....JOY OH JOY!

Have a look at the WTB site, they recommend measuring your sit bones and then campaign that to their fixing chart which eventually pointed me in the right direction.

At the end of the day..you just have to try a few...

I have two Scoops, a Charge and a Fabric one. Both replaced Spoons. They're great.

On one long nose for years. Got a SDG Circuit on the big bike and it's good; needs breaking in though.

I have a carbon Scoop shallow on the road bike and a scoop radius on the mtb. Both great, these replaced Fizik saddles that d had for years.

I have a fabric ti scoop, replaced an sdg bel air. Wasn't sure at first but after 11 months of use I quite like it.

Thanks for the feedback. Having done a bit more research the Fabric Air also loooks like it could be decent!

Scoop is very similar to a fizik aliante and a little bit similar to a cambium c15

creak creak creak...went my scoop. Might have just been mine, but no amount of tightening or rail greasing stopped it for long

I've got two scoops: the Radius one for the MTB and the shallow one for the roadie.
They fit my arse nicely and they seem well put together and durable from a few crashes. If they fit you they are good value.

As with all saddles it's subjective, i tried loads of saddles till i found the scoop worked for me.
