Hi all
I have noticed recently that seeing where Im going on the downs is getting harder because despite wearing riding glasses my eyes are watering so much it all goes a bit blurry. Any suggestions / top tips I can try as I much prefer seeing where Im going.
Thanks
Goggles. I have the same problem as I wear glasses, but can’t get riding glasses due to my prescription.
Its a bit enduro, gnar, but works! I just put them on on the downs.
Try blocking the gap on the bridge of the glasses. Something temporary to start just to see if it makes a difference.
I get this with prescription glasses but not contacts plus Oakleys - the extra coverage of the Oakleys keeps the draft out.
So just look for a design that gives a better seal around your nose, cheek and eyebrows basically.
I used to get this till I got some Oakley Jawbreakers (or a fake version of eBay) has been fine since, except for when it snowed and was minus degrees, I had to switch to googles then, but dont think that will happen too often!
Thanks for the tips. Im using contacts and oakley radars. Perhaps I will have to try the enduro google gnar look. I was hoping to avoid this

It's not a good look on a road bike.
Problem with goggles, if you're not just dhing, is that they are bloody hot. Summer coming an all that...
My son likes his goggles, but ended up riding on Saturday with them round his neck cos it was just too hot.
I get this. Goggles work, obviously, but close fitting specs also help. Try some different styles on until you can find some that sit close to your face and block as much wind as possible, everyone's face is a different shape so the only way to figure this one out is to go to a shop and try stuff on. You're looking for minimal space between your skin and the frame/lens, all the way round.
Also, blink a lot!
