Loved the first comment I saw
Nothing says Whistler Bike Park like the brave souls running a) Cannondale Lefties 0.33% and b) Schwalbe Racing Ralphs 0.17%. Well played sir or madame...well played.
Quick look says in the gravity world over the pond TLD, 5-10 and Maxxis still rule the roost, SRAM are getting the drivetrains out there and taking market share with the brakes.
The Spec Demo is the most popular/cheapest/easiest to get hold of DH bike about!!
I think the Shimano -> SRAM move for brakes is the highlight....
Interesting that 29ers have come from nothing to 6% of the bike park market this year and that 26" still accounts for 45% of the market.
Paging Andreas....
This is about as good as you will get for empirical rankings on 'fun' bikes.
Although should they repeat the survey late Sunday afternoon, to take out all of the bikes and components that failed over the course of the weekend?

As someone who hates Sram brakes, I've noticed their meteoric rise on OEM builds the last few years. How much this affects the results would be pure conjecture though.
Highlight for me is the number of tubes! Just why?

Park Bikes, battered rims still work with tubes, few guys I spoke to didn't have a nice bike for the park but the one that kept taking the abuse. Bit more PSI makes no difference in A Line with 200mm of travel
Hadn't considered this angle - that it isn't people's 'best bike'.
Alien concept to me, but I mince my 'enduro' bike down UK and French Downhill. I'd want my nice bike for my holiday/special trips.

Yeah lot more locals there and season pass holders
