is there anyway or adaptors , got some spare rhental carbon bars don't want to buy new
I really wouldn't.
Having said that I read something recently about a different* design of grip that did extend the width.
*Can't renember what the different thing was! It was something other than just the width.
Use lock on grips and have them hanging off the ends by 20mm each?
Found it!

Thought it was a bit bollox, mind...
They're your teeth but I also really wouldn't...
Controltech do extenders IIRC add max 20mm either side. I've used them to widen some alu bars. Whether I'd fancy using them in carbon not sure.
Pretty sure CRC did them but I bought from Germany to get the MTb specific version. Still needed some filing down of the adapter as I guess internal diameter of bars vary slightly.
You might be able to find some grips that do this. I thought Nico Voullioz did something on his race bike a while back. DMR Deathgrips add 10mm if that's any use!
I made my own nylon plugs but that was to go from 760 to 780, so 10mm each side. No problem.
I made some out of some turned down MX bars, back int day
Motorcycle bar end extensions work. You might not like the idea, They're designed to add weight rather than save it.
I've used them successfully with Alu DH bars and lock on grips fitted over them.
They bar end inserts in each end of your bars adding about 20mm and you tighten an expander to hold them in place.
Surely by the time you have added the extenders, it'll have cost and also weigh as much as a reasonably cheap set of bars anyway? E.g. brand x or whatever
yea but they renthal carbon ones , have ordered some extenders to try out , thanks !
