Big fan of Exposure , been using a Diablo as my lid light for years.
I'm now looking at a TraceR as a commuter rear light , great reviews , seems to tick all the right boxes , really stands out night or day to car drivers.
Question , has there been reliability problems with this model ?
Mine works fine.
A mate has one that the switch has failed on.
The difference between them is I ride with mudguards. He often uses his on a bike without.
I think that the seal that is used for charging needs to be carefully put back in place to keep it watertight.
Mine works OK, I use the seat rail mounting, and with and without mudguards.
The rubber seal is a bit fiddly, and it pays to make sure it is properly seated all the way around.
Brilliant rear light though, small and unobtrusive.
I had one that I used on the mtb and had no end of trouble, in the end they replaced it with the blaze for free.
I do like exposure products but not sure they did themselves justice with this light. Might be ok for commuting but not for mtb use.
