Anyone use one?

Looking for a bit extra run time for my Diablo for 24 hr racing
There appears to be two different sizes , 2.9 / 3.1..?
How long do the run times last and do they come with a mount to put it on the helmet?
How heavy are they and are they really noticeable mounted on your head?

i would not stick my 3 cell on my helmet , they come with long cable - run it down to your back pocket. The three cell is noticable on your head and strains your neck.

The single cell isnt really noticable.

Is it worth it price wise getting the more powerful one?
What sort of extra run times you getting from each?

Jonny, Trail_rats advice relates to the older piggy bag batteries where they did a one cell and a 3 cell, this translates as the 2.9mah and 8.7mah in the current versions.

The difference in the 2.9 and 3.1 is minimal, so think it depends which you can get for the best price vs mah. Or invest in a second light if 24hr racing is your main use of the light.
