I've got one of these and it's great but I don't want mud/rain getting into the smartport. Anyone else fashioned a weatherproof answer to the problem?
I'm gonna start with a bit of thick plastic bag with an elastic band around the back until something more reliable emerges.
It is only really an issue in torrential downpours and even then, usually only on head mounted lights.
Bit of gaffa tape should be fine, or for a joystick/diablo then the redeye micro does the job and adds something extra.
The new lights come with a dust cover for the smart port. Maybe if you spoke to Exposure they could give/sell you one?
Yes email exposure, see if theyll give you one of the rubber caps on the 2012 models.
Email sent, but at least the placky bag bonnet seemed to work in the light rain.
