Mrs MTG and myself have got four Exposure lights between us, all well out of warranty. They are all a bit fiddly to switch on and off, my Diablo in particular.
It seems I need to apply extreme pressure at just the right angle for it to respond, which means it takes several attempts to get the double click to switch on just right.
Is it possible that dirt has got between the rubber cover and the switch itself? I know something similar happened to my Garmin making the buttons unresponsive.
If so, can I take it apart and clean it?
If it's not that, is it likely to be some other easy home fix?
send it back to Exposure, they're really good on stuff like this, even if it's out of warranty
