Can anyone give a summary of the difference between the Mk7 & 8 Joysticks? 7 is available cheap from the Exposure Outlet, for a tenner more the 8 is available from Rutland but it's not clear if it's worth spending more for the newer one. This seems to suggest the 8 is more efficient, but all the run time comparisons and features for the 2 lights are listed as the same.

In simple terms hardly any different in use but more clever inside. The big change is from the 7/8 to the 9 which is upped to a floody 750 lumens. I recently sold a 7 and bought a 9. Both very good as helmet lights, 7 much more of a penetrating spot.

As above, 7/8 look similar, but 9 is a big jump up

It's only a tenner, and if you were that worried about money you could get the equivalent lumens for barely more on ebay - I'd get the newer one.

FWIW - I've 2 Exposure lights

The mk9 with lanyard is £97 at Rutland which is a good price

Its already twice the budget I have, so a tenner is a difference! Aware I could get more for less in power terms and almost bought a fluxient today, but decided I value the quality of Exposure over the cheapy ones, I've already got a Toro and am a big fan.
