Evening all,

As above, anyone had any experience of dealing with these guys?

I think I'd like to buy a bike from them, but I've never heard of them. Reviews seem ok, but are a bit mixed, just wondered if anyone here has any direct experience.

Thanks in advance!

You mean the bike shop at Llandegla trail center? They keep a good hire fleet and a have quite top-end stuff. Never used them for more than a pair of gloves and such when I forgot mine though.

I’ve bought stuff in the shop there and also had no problems when buying stuff online.

I've bought stuff from the shop in person, things like chains and other small stuff, they're fine.

I’ve spoken to them in the shop, they were human

To be fair their workshop loosened a bolt off for free on a bike I bought elsewhere

Thanks all - should have said I'd be buying online, hence the nervousness!

No issues with either online or in person purchases from them.

Where are you based, I would say its worth a trip to pick the bike up as Llandegla trails are the ideal place to try out a new bike. Nice cafe too. I would hope if you are buying a bike from them they would wave the £7 entry free.

Hopefully its an ebike though as the first climb is 3 miles long and hateful

It's a chatting climb. Take a friend to distract you.

Good idea to try the bike at Llandegla as decent trails and a good vibe in the cafe /shop at the end.

I know several people who have bought bikes at Oneplanetadventure and all report good after sales service.

As Kelvin says, just a stead sort of chatty climb at the start.

Shop is fine and the folks know their stuff.

The climb is lovely little singlespeedy stomp to the top

If you can chat on the climb, you aren't trying hard enough. It's a cracker though, especially if you like grinding climbs that are long and steady.
