You own a Bronson, does it get any more exciting that that!

But if that wasn't exciting enough, I have been informed by Stiff/Jungle/SCUK that hopefully sometime in Nov we'll be able to buy the custom tuned Cane Creek DBAir CS (part number BAD1108) directly from them.

From the Cane Creek website

We have been testing suspension products with Santa Cruz for over three years. This product development accommodates the improvements they made specifically for the Bronson's VPP leverage ratio. It allows for easier actuation of the shock from full shock extension which improves traction while breaking.

The DBAIRCS for the 2015 Bronson has a negative spring feature that is different from previous DB shocks. ?It is a mechanical spring in parallel with the standard air negative spring.?

and from another website

The Cane Creek shock we use doesn't have a name per-se, but is custom for us. Specifically it has lighter damping, and a stronger negative spring to give better small-bump compliance and traction. It's just the "Bronson tune".

I'd prefer if it didn't break every time i wanted more traction...... 😉

more importantly, is it perfectly colour (un)matched to the ENVE Wheels and Troy Lee Helmet?

Tftuned told me a few weeks ago that they were getting some in. Bronson-specific ccdba that is, not Audi A4s... 🙂

Ccdb's are excellent shocks that transform a single pivot bike.
Why would you want one on VPP? Are jungle saying it's rubbish without one? I'm sure they won't be cheap. Just ride the bike you've got with the shock you have and enjoy.

No, they're saying that people like to buy new expensive toys that (might) make them either a teeny bit quicker/cooler/bring the trails alive* so they've got ones that will actually work with their bike.
