For loads of reasons, mostly family commitments and getting into other sports, I haven't been on a proper mtb ride for ages. A couple of visits to Cannock, and a 3 or 4 drunken Christmas rides - but the last time I went into the wilderness was probably 3+ years ago.
Off to Wales tomorrow, for a few hours of natural stuff round Snowdonia with Haze and Captain_Spaulding off of here.
Have just got my gear ready, and forgot how exciting it all is.
