[Closed] Excellent Service from Chain Reaction

Ok they get some bad press occasionally and people seem to love to give them a bit of a battering (me included in the past) but was on the receiving end of some excellent service today

Last week I ordered a Commencal Meta AM factory frameset which was at nearly 50% discount
Frame, shock, forks, Reverb, saddle, headset, bottom bracket,stem and bars for a touch over £1500. An absolute steal as its all top range stuff
It turned up quickly, about 3 days and all seemed good
Discovered the forks came unstickered but with a sheet of Fox 40 stickers not 32's. Minor issue but never the less an important one to the overall look of the finished bike
Also not one of the little cable guide clamps on the fork (not sure they come with the forks anyway)
Biggest issue was fitting the bottom bracket, the design of the Meta frame means the bottom bracket shell is machined from one piece and to accomodate the swingarm it is not round in the central section
A normal press fit Shimano BB92 bottom bracket therefore has to have the shoulders cut off to be able to fit (this confirmed to me seperately by Decade the importers)
Long story short but the stickers and cable guide are on their way to me, direct from the supplier and as they didnt have a Dura-ace BB (that has narrower cups and no central tube so fits without modification) in stock and couldnt get one until next week (I could happily have waited) they suggested I ordered one from Wiggle of all places instead and refunded me the cost immediately, no questions asked
I was quite happy to mod the one that had been sent and only raised it to check if this was a known issue
Given the whole package comes boxed from Commencal and its not really CRC's fault it could have taken a while to sort but all resolved in less than 12 hours from the initial email

(anyone want a Shimano BB92 pressfit bottom bracket or some Fox40 decals?)
