going to get my ex1501 wheelset (26) built up onto 27.5 rims. Going to be either 471 or 511. For those that have the 511 how have they been holding up?
Indestructible! I have the ex511 on some pro 4s and they have held up well. Had them tensioned once and after that just rode them! Just bought a 29er so they are getting sold but highly recommended
EX511 has been doing what is should, hasn't dinged or bent like the 30mm internal Easton or WTB it has replaced. It's a pretty sturdy rim.
511 rims are the nuts.
Mahoosive smack on a rock in the peaks, tore the tyre and ripped the huck norris. Rim is barely dinted and still very straight and true.
