Ordered some bike stuff and was due to arrive today at lunchtime, i hear van pull up and assume it was the driver etc.
However i go to look, why expect the doorbell etc.....
Nothing, so check the app and apparently the sender has requested the item to returned to them. I have never seen this before? Anyone know what the implications are. Where is my stuff/ where is my money, etc.
Contact sender. If app shows it’s being returned then you can expect it to be refunded when they receive it.Â
No matter what, it's sender's problem til you have it in your hands or they have equivalent (ie proper proof of actual delivery)
I've had this a few times.
What it's actually meant in all but one case was it was trashed and evri wouldn't deliver and marked it for return.
In the other instance they'd genuinely requested it because several boxes appeared to be mislabelled by the sender.
Looking at the tracking, the driver arrived, took a photo of the package in his vehicle, which looks to be in one piece. then never delivered. It's a pain simply because the part is out of stock everywhere and it would have been nice to get the mudguards on the road bike before the weather turns.
