Recently have problems getting deliveries by EVR. Last couple of weeks I have had two deliveries from cRC and one from sportshoesdirect that they have failed to deliver. They also failed to collect a parcel I was sending. Is it jus me or are EVRI having major problems.

Our Evri is done by folks in cars or small vans, last two deliveries have been delayed due to ‘the size of the parcel’, guessing the driver ditches anything over a certain size to make more smaller deliveries

All depends on the driver I think. My son lives in a secure flat and I sent him a CRC delivery, first day they missed him (he said he was in), 2nd time they delivered to the door, no issues.
Never had a problem sending or receiving, personally.

Pretty sure Evri is just rebranded Hermes. Hermes have a long and illustrious history of failing to get parcels to people on time, or at all. It's just the luck of the draw who your local driver is. Personally I've never had a problem with them but others have had issues.

It is, to use a phase I detest, a postcode lottery.

Our old local guy, now sacked, had a 50% or less hit rate and apparently had same size shoes as me as well as a regular car boot stall.

The person that looks after the area where my office is bloomin' awful but just incompetent and lazy rather than criminal.

Our new local guy (2 years service) is a total legend and never fails to deliver*

*pun intended.

Had the odd problem until I started getting deliveries to the local shop instead of my house, since then everything has been fine.

sent a parcel via EVRI , I know I know but their drop off locker is 5 min walk away.

Tracking has been static since Tuesday pick up day, I've given up any hope of getting anything resembling CS reply, digital Holly is and endless loop of ha f*k you replies.  Paid for the insurance to cover parcel can't see anywhere where to claim.  Ended up emailing the CEO for what its worth https://www.ceoemail.com/s.php?id=ceo-9539   for some intern to give me a non reply if at all

I had a fairly expensive box of van parts on it's way from Germany. Got email from Evri on 20th sept saying it was out for delivery with local courier. It never turned up and I had no missed delivery notification, just the tracking said "sorry we couldn't deliver your parcel today, it will be out again on next working day." It never turned up and tracking is still stuck on the 20th.

I’m a part-time postie. Royal Mail subbed-out some of the parcel deliveries to couriers because of the strike last week. I found an Amazon parcel in a customer’s parcel box, the problem was it was for an address 3 miles away, so I took it to the correct address. Most houses on my round have just names and there are no street names, plus lots of houses don’t have name plates either!

Since the name change from hermes they've become a bit crap, the tracking seems to be stuck on the "we're expecting it" phase for a few days, i emailed CRC and they contacted Evri who couldn't find my parcel but it somehow arrived the next day just as I was about to receive a refund or replacement sent out by CRC. My last delivery didnt show up despite tracking saying its out for delivery, he sneakily delivered the next day by leaving it in my garden despite me being home, no knock or doorbell ring. Guess he knew I wasnt happy and wanted a word with him, luckily CRC use another firm for bigger, expensive items like my forks.

Our Evri/Hermes guy is pretty decent, will sometimes leave the parcel on the back door step but always knocks. Amazon on the other hand has become pretty poor, the last parcel they delivered was just put by the garage rear door, which means he hadn't even bothered to make it to the house, it was also raining! If he'd have tucked it in the corner it would have been fine but he left it about a foot away from the door so it could get nice and wet....

EVRI have been grand for all my CRC deliveries. As above its down to the local courier really.

Alternatively, I made the mistake of paying for next day delivery from CRC last Friday, and yodel are giving me an estimated delivery date of this Thursday…

All our Evri deliveries are bang on, nothing goes missing or is ever outside of the stated delivery times.

Ours have been great recently - but it's totally driver depending, I'm sure the driver will change and the service with it.

The last evri delivery I had from crc was empty, the bag was torn open and the dropper post missing, to be fair to crc a replacement was sent that day which thankfully arrived.

surprise surprise, someone has replied.

" I’ve tracked the journey of your parcel and it seems to have arrived at the hub but then has not been updated since due to the parcel sustaining some damage.

As your parcel has stopped tracking since 29/09/22 I will  raise an investigation with the depot to do a sweep for this parcel."

Its a box within a box that was well wrapped, I smell 💩💩

No one has replied to my reply. After a bit of searching about I lodged a complaint via https://www.resolver.co.uk/   and this has generated a response and a link to a claim form. Not entirely sure what they do it or how they fund the service as its claimed its all free, but since lodging with them I've had more success than I had shouting into space with emailing Evri.

It's not like they were good to start with, but yeah, it's impressive how they've somehow managed to get worse.

Had issues with last few Wiggle orders - I contact Wiggle and they send a replacement out and I then get 2 of what I ordered.
Ordered something off Amazon and it was due to be delivered last Tuesday but is late. Amazon have refunded me, but tracking still says it is at local Evri depot waiting to be loaded and delivered...Evri won't talk direct to me but want me to go through the place I purchased from (which I did but rather than speak to Evri, they gave me a full refund).
I've now changed the delivery to a parcelshop thing in the hope that gets it shifted from the local depot on to a delivery vehicle.
Never had an issue before the rebrand and then every delivery has failed...

Anything small, once it's with the local delivery person arrives - it's getting it to them - tracking is poor. We've had loads of issues with anything large. The company my wife works for use them and, given the experience we've had from goods bought from her employer, the big stuff is impossible to track, or goes missing. We 'lost' most of a patio furniture set (2 of 3 boxes arrived days apart, 3rd didn't). It had to be sent again. I suspect there is a fair amount of theft.
