Anyone use one?
I've ordered the emtb version to stash a spare battery in. It's only going to be used on long rides - 25 mile +
How do you get on with it, it's a big old bugger?
I've had one for over 10 years and it is still going. Supremely comfortable, very stable, carries everything and more without hassle for big days out.
I'm 6ft and fairly broad shouldered with 44" chest using the larger of the 2 sizes if that makes a difference.
Daughter has one, not the ebike version, got it for competing mainly due to the back protector. She never managed to get on with it. On the steep long DHs it was always riding up and hitting her on the back of the head. We tried every possible adjustment but gave up. In the end we got a Scott FR one which worked much better.
I assume that the ebike one has a pocket to hold the battery secure. Looking at our Turbo Levos the length of the battery will be a tight fit.
We have a boost one for the SL which would be easy to carry but as of yet have never needed to take it.

It does and I have a Gen 1 ('19) Kenevo -Â apparently it doesn't quite fit (the OG pack), but I've seen a mod online and also read that they have changed the compartment slightly. I've been considering a 252wh trailwatts range extender, but thought I'd be better buying a 504wh spare battery for the same money (partly in case they get phased out) and deal with the bulk
I've been using one for a couple of years (an EVOC FR TRAIL UNLIMITED 20l protector I believe).
It's a great one bag for all & my tools, spares, hill kit & snack just live in it. My only complaint would be there is no where to mount a back light when using the waterproof cover.
It is big for short rides or racing (I used it at the 'puffer which was total overkill). But with a previous serious back injury, It's reassuring & I'm confident the back protector & belt has helped when I have had an unscheduled dismount since.
I'm also about 6ft & have quite a long torso. I've got an XL one.
The extra battery makes more sense than aftermarket extender and it's a quick swap out for the Gen 1 battery.
Not sure I would want to be doing the later batteries trailside although I'm told the racers have been doing it.
My riding pal uses one to carry his spare 640wh battery and other kit. He loves it and comments on how comfortable it is even when loaded up 👍
