Can you fit 29er wheels with a 2.35 tyre in the wheel pockets, in one of these?
Good question but my 26 x 2.25 were very snug.

Newer bags (2012) have a slightly bigger wheel pocket. 29x2.25" racing ralphs were a really tight squeeze in an older bag but in a newer bag it was much easier.
I'd be fairly certain it would fit. What tyre is it? If its a Hans Dampf I can check for you.

Yes, it fits pretty easily.
Older design its tight, with a bit of wrestling and tyre deflation it should be possible.
I've got the older version of the bag, one of the first in fact. reason enough for me not to get a 29er.
Smaller 29er tyres fit OK. The Hans Dampf is particularly chunky though, even for a 2.35".
