A few questions for ya.

I have built mine up SS using my Middleburn uno (square taper)and the non drive side is real close to the chain stays.
Pretty sure my bb is 68-73 with 113 axle.

Would a longer axle length cure it?

What dropouts are you all using I currently have it set up in the longer option.

What difference would it make to the ride if I used the shorter one?

Cheers Rob.

113 axle should be fine. I run mine as 1x9 at present and never thought the chainring appeared too close to the chainstays. Should your bb have spacers?
Longer axle would be further away - this would also alter your chainline so may not work out.
I have rode mine with shorter and longer wheelbase and can't tell the difference. I think its just there to help ss setup.

With the rear wheel shunted forward its manualtastic!

Run mine 1x10 as my general trail bike.

No issues re the chainstay crank gap.
