Hiya Chaps,

I've got a X2 on my Insurgent, been playing with pressures and volume spacers for a bit, and can't quite get it plush and not bottom out.

Anyone running an Evil with an X2, if so - what's your base pressure and volume spacers for your weight?

I'm at 155psi, 3 bands and 160lb....

Cheers

Ricks

Pretty similar.

155lb

3 spacers

148psi / 30% sag when sat on saddle

I used a ShockWiz on Friday and it had me speed up LSC/HSC/LSR/HSR which made the shock handle the chatter a lot better. It also doesn’t bottom out as much anymore.

Cheers Milkie, sounds like I'm in the right Ballpark!

When you say 'speed-up', do you mean you took off rebound and compression damping? Or added?

Generally, speeding up would be removing damping - which for HSC would make it bottom out more.

I'd be super keen to steal your settings if you can pop me your settings - happy to pass some beer tokens!

My shock was packing down over the rough stuff. I sped up rebound and made the compression harder.

Here’s my X2 settings:

148psi

HSC 8 Clicks Clockwise

HSR 5

LSR 6

LSC 8
