There is a BWM in the family, tho it's not mine, and I do fail in that I don't and have never owned an Orange 5.

Not sure anyone is hating.... just shock/disappointment that a brand with such a terrible history is still producing flaky product and not doing right by their customers. The bikes look great, and by all accounts ride brilliantly. But as long as they fail to back their product with decent support, they're not a risk I could see myself taking. Hope you get to enjoy your bike and don't end up in that position.

I think it just goes to show how a legacy of failed bike designs and manufacturing faults + terrible customer service can tarnish a brand
