Went out for a short pootle tonight on the road, had several drivers cut past me through traffic islands, a van drive head on at me on the wrong side of the road & finally a young girl pull out into me from a side road!
What made it even worse was the girl in question said "but I did look, I saw you before I pulled out"...
Cut the ride short and came home, seems the idiots are out in force tonight.
The standard of driving at the moment is more atrocious than normal. I blame summer holidays, lunch time cider and lager and too much energy spent enjoying the weather and not enough actual watching where they're going.
Some days just in the 9km riding to work.
Ive done 90+ miles these last 4 days & it was only in the last 15 miles that I met all the idiots!
