You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
HI Guys,
So I'm best man for my mates wedding next June, which of course means planning the stag do.
We're all into our bikes, so wanting to plan a European trip to one of the big bike parks for a few days riding. Problem is, most places don't open their uplifts until June / July, and this trip needs to be in May.
Would anyone recommend anywhere in Europe a group of 8-10 lads could head to, with lift access trails in May?
I've priced Finale Ligure through MTB Beds, but £890 per person, pre flights is too expensive for our group and they'll only allow a full week.
Any experiences, input or recommendations would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks all,
Ian
Leogang/Saalbach usually open in May
Edit. Right at the end of May, is that too late?
Ride Slovenia Alps2Sea tour?
Surely if you organise the bits yourself it could easily be a lot cheaper to go to Finale. Book a big accommodation, book with any of the numerous guide/uplift companies, book your flights to Nice, hire a van or two and you're done. Food and drink is cheap enough to eat out every night.
Have a look at Freeride Madeira, year round riding and a great company.
Zona zero - Ainsa, van uplifts, massive area, varied riding and good value for money
Thanks to all who replied.
Ended up getting a deal on Finale Ligure working out at less than £500 per head for flights from Dublin with bikes, uplifts, van hire and accomdation in a crackin' Italia Villa with pool.
If anyone would like the details for themselves, let me know.
Thanks
@iian i would like details, or actually can i just come along? haha enjoy!
@iian... Can you send me the details please.... Im looking at Finale for a family holiday next to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
