I'm looking for ideas of where to go for a 4 day trip in April. We normally go to Finale Ligure, and have tried Lousa in Portugal which was also great, but want to try somewhere else this year. We definitely want to take the DH bikes, so shuttle uplift only.

Does anyone have any ideas please? I've researched a few places like Maderia and Slovenia but they basically say trail/enduro bikes only.

Cheers

Try a bit further west around Sospel, search for 'Ride Sospel' and you'll get access to a bunch of self guided trips then if you want uplift you can contact Cool Bus Mafia. Otherwise try Ridgeline Trails in Tuscany? I've only seen some riding online, never been there but there would surely be good riding in Croatia at that time of year, outside tourist season and not too hot. Around Omis there is a bunch of riders called Coastal Riders that offer guiding and are developing some trails down there. I don't know too much about the latter two but some places to start looking, I could write about how good around Sospel is all day but maybe it is a bit too similar to Finale for you.

Thank you, quite a few suggestions there.

Although not in Europe, I'm also looking at Morocco as it's close. Does anyone know if there is anything decent there? Thought it would be good but looks a bit tame from the sites I've seen

Sospel is not that great with a DH bike bar a few trails.... Sanremo is ace for DH, we cater for many DH teams there.

Nava has a handful and so has Molini and Diano marina is also good fun

All these locations are just 30 mins from our base near Sanremo.

There is much much more to liguria than Finale

Drop me a line if you want more info

Marco of ciclo Montana has a freeride Morocco option. Well worth a look.
Culture, uplifts and techy trails.

Thanks all for the suggestions,

That Morocco one does look better than the other Morocco ones I'd found and San Remo is also a solid option so thank you.
