I fancy a long weekend somewhere but no idea where is good, not overly pricey, and has enough good dh fun for the time. Sun would be nice as my last trip to morzine was a washout. Spain etc?

When are you looking for? If soon then Portugal, Spain or Finale would spring to mind. If you're thinking in the summer then lots of those are closed as it's too hot to ride.
Try roost dh, ride malaga, wheelers mtb holidays, ride portugal, finale freeride, just ride finale for those places.
