But looking forward to it all the same. Just hope the weather isnt too bad!

Second one for me too.... but hoping not to be an hour slower!! Don't think I will be quicker though, but if I can get on a few quick wheels who knows. Just hoping the wind id kind and is not too strong on return leg along Loch Rannoch

Dont mention times, its not a race and you are likely to upset the elite roadies lurking on here 🙄

Second time for me too.

Done enough training to beat last year but suspect the perfect conditions we got last year won't be replicated and it'll be hugely difficult to get a better time.

That and the fact I twisted my ankle yesterday thinking two games of fives would be better for me that getting the mtb out in the Pentlands!

the forecast looks better than it did at the start of the week. One more training run for me tonight then taking it easy until Sunday. It's my first time so looking forward to it....quite enjoyed riding the road bike this winter. Getting me nice and fit for for this year's Mega 🙂

In addition to the roll call, how about starting times/waves. See who starts in the same wave?

7.01 - Wave I for me.

I'm in wave K, 7:05 start.

Early morning as i'll be driving up from Perth (closest accomodation i could get)... last year just rolled down the road for a minute to get to the start.

Great day out, didn't beat last years time, as rode first half with a slower mate, but really loved it. Definately again next year. Better bike, better prepared might just have a crack at 4.15!
