i'm back in my old stomping ground visiting my folks and have my bike with me.

i remember coming across a website (maybe through this forum) for a skills/jump centre place near to Blackmore and Chelmsford.

in fact, i think i remember it being on Blackmore Rd, but i can't find anything through searching google or this forum...

any ideas/more information?

oh, and are certain areas of Danbury now out of bounds? if so, which?

thanks.

Hi
There is a jumps/skills place as you head out of Blackmore on the Chelmsford Road which turns into the Blackmore road. If you're coming from Blackmore its on the left hand side of the road and its probably about 2ish miles from Blackmore.
If you get to the turn off for Ingatestone Road you've gone too far.
Have fun

so if i ride to the Viper pub and then onto Ing'stn Rd/Metsons Ln i'll be in the right area.

Some short but very fun runs on danbury common coming from gay bowers rd area, avoid Blake's as the situation there seems a bit tense...

Gay Bowers is by the bomb hole/jump spot, isn't it?

not been 'home' for the last (didn't realise it was so long) 3.5 years... memory is a bit rusty.

If you go to Danbury park in the public car park!

The locals are getting fed up with bikers parking on the private driveways and private road into the woods!

Yeah there's a place on my local road club's 10TT route and its defo on the Blackmore road. If travelling toward Fryerning its on your left just before the road becomes Green Street.

Sorry never been myself, and think I remember seeing a website once (cannot find it now) but its there, you can see it from the road.

Failing that .... get yourself over to Warley (south Brentwood, 10mins from blackmore) behind the big Ford Finance building. Explore either side of the Warley Gap road.... some good runs, short and sharp, to be had down there.

Yea it is. If you wander about near the old jumps, canyon and treasure island (rip 🙁 ) you will come across them. Follow back up to the top to find the start.
Riding beautifully at the moment.

Yeah, I had to go round picking up loads of riders rubbish too. Inner tubes, cans of redbull etc. That just gives the moaners more ammo to get bits closed off.
