[Closed] Esk Valley Enduro postponed

cancelled again, statement seems vague.

Cancelled not postponed, from the email;

"On a week when trail preparations have started and rider briefings were to be released, it’s very difficult to announce that the Esk Valley Enduro will not be taking place on the 24th & 25th July 2021. With great sadness we have had to cancel due to local authority requirements that we weren’t able to meet, or agree on.

At this point in time we are unable to offer 2022 dates therefore a “defer entry” option is not possible. Various options have been made available below, including a refund. We are absolutely gutted to make this decision as a huge amount of effort, costs and labour have been required over the last two years.

We truly apologise for the late nature of this announcement- we are just as disappointed as everyone else. We cannot express how grateful we are to those who have believed in us and continue to do so. From sponsors to local residents, trade stands to land owners and of course you, our riders.

We thank you for your understanding in advance and hope it hasn’t caused too much inconvenience.

Donate your entry fee to Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team

Waive your entry fee so that it can be used to help pay for costs already incurred by the event

Receive a refund less booking fee. SiEntries has offered to waive their usual refund fee for this event. You will need to supply your bank account name, number and sort code when selecting this option. If you would like a refund but do not have a UK bank account, please contact the organiser."

@fooman, sorry i jumped an old threead from last summer. thanks for the post, thats clearer, the social media posts seemed vague as to why it was cancelled, was hoping to hear the reason..
