My track pump head is shite.

Its a screw on on which i like.

But thus one doesn't screw on for some reason. Which makes dicking about with tubeless somewhat frantic but also very delicate.

I'm pretty loathe to buy a new one as the rest seems fine!

I think I got a Topeak screw on 'threadlock' head for my old Blackburn. It is quite excellent and was very easy to fit. Should cost less than £15

Hirame, a thing of beauty
Excellent piece of kit especially if combined with sks rennkompressor pump

Some of the Topeak ones have different fittings. I got a cheap BBB one which was OK, but burst off when the lever was flipped to remove it. The Lezyne one with a metal lever for about £8.95 on EBay is better. Just watch your fingers when you flip the lever. These were to replace the Birzman Push and Twist which was utterly dismal.

Topeak smarthead on my renn. Doesn’t do Woods valves easily if that matters to you.

What pump head have you got at the moment?

I didn’t overly like the topeak or Lifeline heads that have a lever to tighten them on.

Recently got a Lezyne pump with the screw on abs head and it seems good so far. It seems to screw onto the valve core so you need it to be on there less tight than the core it threaded into the valves body and it won’t screw onto a valve with the core removed - this maybe a consideration for you with tubeless setup.

ive got a fancy sks track pump and the head is rubbish. It leaks untill you start pumping.

The bbb tenner track pump out classes it in every way (apart from the gauge that i dont use)

I’ve always done better with dual heads than “smart” ones. The SKS EVA has been replaced with their dual head on both the Rennkompressors i’ve had. The ancient Topeak twin head that’s on the ancient Silca Pista still works and has the benefit of being almost imposssible to use in the wrong way.

Lezyne fancy ABS2 needs a lesson for anyone new using it. Nicely made but not convinced it will last that long.

So in the end i decided nit to get anything suggested as i was in decathlon and they sell one. A pump in the hand is worth two in the post.

Successfully managed to charge my airshot to full power*

*After disasembling my track pump so put some kind of lube in there. Bine dry it was
