Does anyone make a 3/4 like the Zyme anymore?

I’ve found a heavier 3/4 is cooler when active and warmer when static than any full length trouser (I presume because as you pedal it “pumps” air out of the open shorter legs?)

I don’t proper MTB in them because big knee pads don’t fit within but I really like them for commuting and wearing at work and the gym, rather than having to change my leg wear through the day.

Not sure anyone makes 3/4 shorts these days, as the lack of replies might suggest.

Everyone wants to keep their shins clean?

I just wear 3/4 bibs under normal baggies. I used to have a pair of Zyme 3/4s, but have vague memories of them getting soaked in gritty mud and feeling quite unpleasant against my lower legs.

Edit: google suggests the Endura's mahoosive range still includes several 3/4 length baggy shorts, though not, I think, Zymes.

Yes, they’re not great for MTBing - I can recall that happening to me too - but great for commuting and working in a fairly cold place!

Sad to hear this. I bought a pair of Zyme's quite cheap off Vinted this summer as I'm worried that my old ones (which I didn't think were Zyme's but forget) have a limited time on this earth. So might be worth a look. Stock up! To be fair my old ones have lasted about a million years and get worn for non-bike stuff too, and I think I bought THEM second hand, probably off here.

I think I can see the remnants of an M on the waistband, so medium!
