Hello
Looking at a riding waterproof and have seen the older endura Singletrack jacket (large only) for £54. Has anyone got one, recommend it and how do they size?

As it's endura sizings never to be assumed.

Cheers

I've got the older one and would usually take a medium but ended up buying a small after trying them on. I've had it for two years or more and it's been through the wash quite a few times now so isn't that waterproof anymore but it still gets used and it hasn't fallen apart.

Cheers, the large sounds a little bit too big in that case. Will look elsewhere.

Nice jacket. Doesn't last long. Mine has disintegrated inside 18 months. I'm 6'5". The xl was too big.

Looks like one to avoid. What was the decathlon recommendation?

If it's this style:

Then I really like mine. Only worn a few times, so I can't comment on longevity, but breathes well, is waterproof and has good ventilation. Nice hood and zip pockets. I have a large and it's a bit roomy, but by no means massive.

If it's the one above then it's ok. Seems to be tailored to suit a heavily pregnant man with a relatively short body. But breathes ok and quite waterproof. At the 50 of stuff I paid I'm not going to complain, but I certainly wouldn't pay anything like full price for it.

Endura MT500 much better quality but of course costs more, I bought the funky orange knocked down at Cyclestore recently for £124. My wife has the older Burner version and that’s even better.

That blue one is the one. Sizing sounds like it will be too big, pregnant man shaped I am not. With endura's unique approach to sizing I thought it was worth an ask.
The mt500 and singletrack 2 look better but are well beyond my meagre budget.

Not Endura but I got a belter of a waterproof jacket out of Decathlon for £60
Forclaz 400,pit vents large hood and 10,000 waterproof
I’ve been out in some crazy wet rides over the two years I’ve had mine and it’s only just stopped being as waterproof as was when I bought it

Best jacket I’ve had to be fair

Looks like the forclaz has been superseded Mh500

Madison roam also available in certain sizes and colours for the same price

I like mine, not the smallest pack size though. I'm generally a medium in most things and a medium in this fits fine. Slim sleeves don't leave room for chunky elbow pads.
